HP Vertica

Brand Logo

The acquisition of Vertica by HP in March 2011 was a major strategic move to enter the big data analytics market. The company needed a new logo that visually merged HP’s corporate stability with Vertica’s technical superiority. My design solution centered on integrating HP’s well-known circular motif, which was duplicated and connected to form a new mark. This design directly visualizes Vertica’s core technical advantage: its Massively Parallel Processing (MPP) architecture, which distributes data across a cluster of nodes for superior performance and scalability.
